Notification when accessing patient file
Wondering if it would be possible to have notification drop downs as i know it is displayed in dash board but if we know someone is infectious, same or similar name, tissue kept or do not release. We put this in ourselves and everytime entering the patient file an icon pops up.

Clinician Cause of Death to be added to Medical Examiner Scrutiny
Multiple hospitals have expressed an interest in having a dedicated area for cause of death (as issued by hospital clinician) to be entered and available within the Medical Examiner scrutiny (in between ‘A’ forms and ‘B’ forms) - as per rough mockup example. The intention is for this data to be completed by MEOs and for this to allow Medical Examiners easy access to the cause of death whilst carrying out their scrutiny. Suggestion is to title the tab ‘CCOD’ (Clinician issued cause of death) The new section will allow entry of Cause of death 1a, 2b, 1c,1d and 2 (alongside comments and remarks free text boxes) . Please feel free to comment on whether this feature would be useful, and if you have suggestions on the title and placement of the new tab.

Restriction for access to 'Celebrity' Deceased Records
Suggestion was made to implement a feature that would restrict viewing of deceased record, so that only superuser or administrator users are able to access it. This is for rare instances where deceased patient is considered a high profile or celebrity or high interest; where there would be a risk of interest for their data from unauthorised parties. The feature would offer a slider on the main deceased page that, if selected, would prevent standard users from opening the record in the first place (meaning that all activity on the record would only be accessible to super user or administrator).

Specimens
Following a recent HTA inspection, it was noted on the specimens section, there is no option to put the amount of slides returned following histology returning with the lab. I asked to have it added on and was suggested it goes on here. Also, we don’t have Pathologists on site, so they take the slides off site to look at them. It was requested by them that there is an extra step put in from external to collected, back to external again rather than straight to completed.

Post Mortem Request Date
Our mortuary staff are noticing since the last update that if there is a community death and the deceased is with the funeral director when they receive the PM request from the coroners office they are having to put the date of the request as the date they arrived into the mortuary. This needs to be reverted back to how it was as they are not entering the correct information. If ever they needed to back track they would not have the correct information and obviously they are concerned that they won’t have the correct information if the HTA arrive to do an inspection. It really isn’t helpful!

Make Unused Fields Read-Only
Eden pages may include certain fields that are static and part of the product baseline but are not actively used. These fields can be safely ignored by users. Would it be possible to implement a custom configuration that permanently greys out these fields, making them read-only and preventing any data entry or selection?

Add new fields CN1A and CN1B in Advanced Search
Is it possible to add a filter option to searches please? I would like to be able to search all cases where a CN1A or CN1B has been issued. These can be found on ‘certificates’ under the ‘MCCD’ section.

Pinning dashboards
When going between records, it takes you back to the main mortuary dashboard. If I’m working multiple perinatal cases, I have to keep re-selecting the dashboard I require - can the sidebar be pinned? Currently, we have to actively click Dashboard to exit the perinatal record, taking us back to the adult dashboard, then click to open the sidebar list, to click on perinatal dashboard - its an unnecessarily long process, especially when working on shared burial processes

Can release dates be auto populated when checking ID for release? The information is always checked at point of release, and not prior, so these dates are irrelevant.

Advanced Search Function - current admissions first
The advanced search function can be hit or miss. When searching for a patient, those who are currently admitted will show last on the list, which seems odd. Can this have a toggle feature like Eden desktop had? You cant go back to the search field - if you have competed a search and entered a record, and require a different record, you have to start the process again - Eden desktop would go back to the search page with the search list present.

Implants
Have the implant icon shown on the sidebar, if an active implant is in situ. The icons are great on the dashboard, but this is then lost when in the record. A constant image would ensure implants are not forgotten when going through different pages. Something like this!

Tab B11- approval
I wondered if it would be more appropriated to have the scrutiny tab B11 as final ME approval with the scrutiny date, time and duration. Having the scrutiny duration in B2 doesn’t make sense as the rest of the scrutiny still needs to happen. Hope I’ve explained myself ok

The data below is already in the ME Form A1 in the drop box where it says ‘No communication with the NR’, but is it possible this question and drop box can be replicated inbetween the two fields below on the Bereavement Pathway – MCCD Status and can it populate from the ME Form A1? The reason is when all paperwork is completed and we have to call relatives to confirm it would be easy to miss the info on the A1 form, but it is needed there as that is when initial calls are made and the box populated by the MEOs Bereaved declined interaction with medical examiner office No response from bereaved. No informant/next of kin Other

Filter for Shared funeral for Babies
Suggestion for Shared burials & Cremations for searching it will be good to have in the filter section to have the Batch Month & Year filter so that instead of searching the Admission date. Then you can have all the Babies that are due for funeral that batch month can appear and if a baby needs to be removed or changes to be made it easier to access.
